KEEPING IT LOCAL... Our suppliers
As part of our keeping it local initiative, we try and source, as far as possible, our ingredients locally. Obviously, cocoa beans and chocolate does prove to be a problem! But it is amazing how many other ingredients can actually be sourced on your doorstep once you start looking. Here is a selection of our suppliers who either produce high quality produce or are local independant suppliers.Click the links on the left and read about them.
We take great care in sourcing our ingredients, so much so, we go to great efforts to grow nearly all of our own flowers and herbs to infuse flavour into our chocolates. Safe in the knowledge we know where our ingredients come from, how old they are, and how they have been grown. We source other ingredients from our local community of producers at Farmers markets in the heart of the East Midlands.

They now retail their tea all over the world and supply many of the UK’s and Europe’s finest tearooms, restaurants and delicatessens.
In this supermarket led world it is easy to think that tea is just “tea”. Some people will have tried a few blends such as English Breakfast or Earl Grey. But did you know that there is a whole world of loose leaf teas out there, waiting to be tried, every one of which has its own individual flavour and colour – just as different as the regions they are grown in.
